Change Ks of cluster (vt vx)

Hey all, I just purchased a new dash cluster for my vx. Upgrade the level 1 to level 3, plus the fuel gauge was faulty. The car has 190xxx Ks on it, But the new cluster has 350xxx Ks. Is it possible to change this? I'm aware of the legal implications and that people do this to sell there car for mor...

Re: Cycle ABS for brake bleed? Vx commodore.

The system should bleed normally and I think the only way air can get into the ABS module is if you operated it with air in the system but it should bleed out. The vacuum bleeder is the greatest thing since sliced bread for disc brakes only not drum they suck in air past the wheel cylinder cups but...

Re: Cycle ABS for brake bleed? Vx commodore.

vac is the only way to go, i had done it various ways for years, after picking up one of these the other day on special $70 locally did my brakes, VS ABS, best theyve ever been. https://www.kincrome.com.au/vacuum-one-man-brake-bleeder Yeah, I think you're right. I have always done my own mechanical...

Re: Cycle ABS for brake bleed? Vx commodore.

Pedal has always gone about halfway down to floor. As far as I remember it has always been this way. When I purchased the car, the engine was blown. So while changing engine, I bleed the brakes. So I never got to feel how it was before my bleeding. As the brakes have always gone down so far(which is...

Cycle ABS for brake bleed? Vx commodore.

Hi all. I need to bleed my brakes on my vx commodore. It has ABS. As I have just changed my master cylinder. I believe there is air trapped in the ABS module. And it needs to be cycled to get any air out. Ever since I first bleed my brakes years ago, The pedal goes down quiet far. I believe this is ...

Re: Can anyone help out a newby with ECU logging/hacking?

That will do. And with the same settings you can connect to the one in the car now? Yeah, same settings. I even tried it on PCM on bench mode. Tried with all different things checked/unchecked. Just hoping for at least 1 more connect because then I could have saved it with the stock .bin.. But unfo...

Re: Can anyone help out a newby with ECU logging/hacking?

I had a quick read of a guide from VL400. If you are successfully getting the bin file from it. Then you should be able to write an enhanced bin to it is how I took it. What does flash tool say when you try to connect now? Csn you show a screen shot? Nothing. Its dead. Failed to connect. No device ...

Re: Can anyone help out a newby with ECU logging/hacking?

Might be recoverable but I've never dealt with these ecu before. Think I read somewhere about connecting to the memory on the circuit board or removing it and putting it in a burner? Really hope so. Would like to get back to trying to tune. That enhansed XDF you sent me is heaps better than the one...

Re: Can anyone help out a newby with ECU logging/hacking?

I might be onto a ecu a mate has. Can you give the part number off the ecu? If he has a VX one we can sort something out. Hi Dylan. Part number of original ecu: Service number: 09356445 16269208 DKDC. Part number of spare ecu. Service number: 09356445 16269248 DMTY. That would be excellent. Thanks ...
