You will still get spark even if you disconnect the PCM. The module is switched to bypass by the PCM when certain RPM reached. I would check that you have a 12v supply to the coil & to the module which should be fused.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with my issues. Turned out to be the memcals. Put a good one in & purrs like a kitten. I still learnt plenty so that's good for the future.

I'm not sure if they are the same but thanks. The memcal is the only thing that's been changed & the second memcal is one the guy did who removed vats from my original.

I have just tried another memcal I have. So on the original memcal I get no data in the "run time" or "desired rpm" or "air/fuel ratio" fields however when I put the second memcal in it reads all of those but doesn't fire or run. I'm starting to think the PCM or MEMCAL ...
