In that case, could I simply lookup the flash chip datasheet, find its corresponding leg, and trace it to a common pad? Wonder how I would identify which leg that may be. Maybe by comparing it to the P01/P59 flash chip?
Wonder if the same process would work for the E38 style ECMs as well

Hi guys, I have one of those E54 duramax PCM's, looking to bypass the tunerlock on. I popped the cover off and was going to try the LS1 style ground pin trick to read it, but the board doesnt have the spot to ground to. Does anyone know if the grounding pin is just simply relocated? Or is brute forc...

Re: 06 Saturn Vue 3.5L 12609702 Programming
You learn something new every day, had no idea GM and Honda had a joint venture with these Saturn's.
If they are class 2, seems like it wouldn't be too hard to read

06 Saturn Vue 3.5L 12609702 Programming
Hello gentlemen, I have a friend that wants to send me ECU from a 06 3.5 Saturn vue. Hpt doesn’t support these ECUs. I really don’t know what these are considered to be as hardware names are concerned. The part no is 12609702. Do you guys know if universal patcher can read the bin out of this? I nee...

Re: Need help with understanding opcode failure
I think you guys nailed it. I just unloaded the archive and seen that too. I am using a archive creator tool to make the archive, the tool must for some reason set to 3 instead of 2 and the utility. Man I feel stupid.. I will flash this in and see if I can work on correcting the VIN next, Thanks to ...

Re: Need help with understanding opcode failure
Thanks for the input guys,
I will backup and look at things, and try to get the actual J2534 log and see what's possibly going on too.

Re: Need help with understanding opcode failure
The only thing I can could think of is possibly this calibration uses 6,14 gmlan to program, but the calibration portion is wrote using 12,13 on the high speed bus? I have it resisted on both busses properly. The module subnet populates on GMLAN CAN 6,14 but not on 12,13 with or without external can...
