Re: 304 Power Curve

Slicks would slow me down further and Valve springs have been done and should be good for 7500rpm all day :) The tires do smoke a little especially when I hit 3rd gear in the burnout ;) These things, I was told by the guys I have bought my tires for the past 10 or more years, would smoke but give go...

Re: 304 Power Curve

Well I have started on the right track to build a Street Happy Fun V8, it was running 14.3-14.4@98-97mph all day long without slicks and with no changes to how it's driven on the street. Re: 304 Power Curve

Remembering this is my daily driver and will be the tow car for my 202 powered chevette. The good thing is that as it is my tow car lowering the gearing is probably not that bad. I actually turned up the fuel to it compared to the day before to try and boost the power as the day before I could only ...

Re: 304 Power Curve

So the plan is to upgrade the following: Intake Manifold with a 4-barrel after market one and keep it Injected. Use a 80mm Throttle Body Up the compression if possible to 10:1 from the current 9.3:1 by planing the heads, this would have to combine with the Intake as it may need to be port matched. C...
