Hey Guys,
Just sorting out a tune for a mate. He's rebuilt the engine with a stroker kit and cam.
Anyway, I was going to sort out his tune but I can't find the kinjflow parameter in the tune. I'm using a standard VR V8 bin (BLCC) with VR-VS $11B v1 06 .XDF
I calculated kinjflow to be 0.078 based on 355 with 37 lb/hr injectors
Cheers

Re: kinjflow for VR V8 tune
Ok so it's called something different in this tune, if I'm correct I need to alter:
Run A/F Param - Displacement/inj flow rate (Litres/Grams per sec)
Just have to figure out how to calculate the new number.

Re: kinjflow for VR V8 tune
its just named differently. it is the exact same thing as kinjflow and is calcualted the same.

Re: kinjflow for VR V8 tune
Cheers,
I've just come to that conclusion, however the numbers don't seem to add up.
factory VR V8 shows as .14662 but when I plug in the relevant data (for a stock 304 with 19lbs injector) into the calculator I get .12413 or if I change it to 355 I get .14496
When I put in the numbers for the 355 with 34lbs super 6 injectors I get .08387
Seems like the stock calculation is out somewhat??

Re: kinjflow for VR V8 tune
yeah there is always a "fudge factor" maybe round it up to .09 to start with and see how it goes.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
