injector duty cycle is calculated from injector time in ms and engine rpm. It's part of the ADX

The only one that refes to the injectors that i can see is injector pulse time, but i didnt think that was it. and th only one that talks about duty cycle is the canister purge

As you know RPM and injector PW can calc it. This is not totally correct as it does not allow for the injector opening time, its only the delivered fuel pulse you are logging. As long as you keep below about 80% you are probably ok.

To work out time per rev in ms its .. 1/(RPM/60000)
The injector PW is the fuel injected per cycle.

So the Duty Cycle is ... ((inj PW/2) / Time per rev) * 100

As VL400 says. You may need to create a new item in the adx to implement this. You should be able to edit an adx that does have injecto dc % to see how to set up the item.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

I had another look through the the ADX and its defiantly not there.

I checked the VS one and that one has it, the equation is ((x*.007629)/(1000*(1/(Y/60)))) *100
I copied all the info across to the ADX I'm using but i don't know if its all correct.

Im sure the second part is (1000*(1/(Y/60)))) *100 as its like you said VL400 and i have linked the Y to engine RPM but its the first part im not sure about
Im not sure where this value came from ((x*.007629)/ it must be the injector PW but i don't get where you get this number from.

If all the above info is correct my injectors are just under 90% duty cycle

if you think of it this way, 100% duty cycle the injector never closes .... so you obviously start leaning out after this point .... you can run injectors at 80-90 % duty cycle safely, but much more than that and you are really needing to get bigger ones!

I'd say your mates car is on the limit, anything that requires more fuel and you need more injector! ... that said, you can put an adjustable reg in and get another 5-10 psi pressure into the system and you have removed yourself from the unsafe zone!
