I havent done a decent video yet, sorry guys.
I recall there is a type of learn mode built into the software of the PCM or gearbox controller?? Is this correct??
The transmission seems to be shifting a little different, holding back in lower gear a little longer compared to when i first started driving it.
Is this correct?

there is a shift speed target, and the PCM will time how long each shift takes and tweak shift pressure to achieve that shifting time.

Thanks
I thought somehow the PWR button was turned on but there is none that I have connected as there would be on a standard Commodore.

Out of curiosity can PCM be reset to a kind of default? I remember reading some procedure where you turn on ignition, disconnect a fuse, pump the accelerator (I'm guessing a type of calibration of the TPS??) etc etc

Hi guys.
The LS1 in the WB Statesman has been going well, real well.
Unfortunately I need a bit of help trouble shooting, basically the LS1 wont start.
I got spark, I got fuel to the injectors but no go. Recently installed a Cable X which converts the electronic speedo signal to mechanical. I haven't got a chance to test or complete the install as ive been stuck with the motor not going. It was running sweet the day before this. I uninstalled the cable X in case this had "something" to do with but no luck!
So symptoms are, I crank and crank and crank it and all it does is puff puff puff puff, no go.
I experienced a disconnected cam sensor few months back and it went puff puff puff then started. This time no go at all.
Could this be crank sensor that I have accidently disconnected in the loom or similar to this ???? Bad crank senor all of a sudden????

Thanks guys.

Seen this a few times with the V6's after conversions. Funny enough trying a new set of sparkplugs has worked quite a few times.

Cheers
