Re: DFI Tacho output
Nice conversion, magna dash looks like a good fit too
Re: DFI Tacho output
Hz premier front end
And yes a magna dash why you ask?
Why not i answer
It fits, it gives me double din mount
integrated air/heater
2 a/c settings
center console that looks like it should be there
hand brake where you want it, a tacho
vents to put air on side windows....
once it is re-covered it will look pretty good i think.
do a search for a van with plates FAT78
that's where i got the inspiration to undertake this ,you have no idea how much it takes to make it work
the steering column is a just the beginning,
i 'll dig up some more pics and put them in the right section
thanks for the positive comments, negatives can stumble around the house moaning about it cause i aint listening.

Sorry mate I didn't mean to upset you, I just can't stand magna's and there must be a lot of people the same because they stopped making them. I can understand how much work is involved as I've restored a few cars myself, and as I said I like your engine bay I think your doing a top job, keep it up !

Re: DFI Tacho output
This thread may help me find an answer to why I can't get the Tacho to work in my 90-91 model Toyota 4WD to VT V6 engine conversion.
It came with a MARKs 4WD Adapters Tacho box which I have no idea what its trying to do. But the Tacho fails to respond. Does anyone here know what colour wire from the V6 DFI the tacho signal is on ?
Cheers

Also see "Will a traditional coil signal reading tacho work with a coilpack? Can I make it work?" in the FAQ (top right of screen).
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
