Help with Haltech ECU...

Post by arkwolf »

Please dont tell me how much better a Delco is compared to Haltech, I know however this is for a show car and I want to use a drive by wire on the new haltech elite.

So basically I am new to the whole EFI scene and been trying to configure up my haltech elite before it arrives in the mail except there is a lot of information that is required that I just can not seem to find and was wondering if someone could either fill in the info for me and send me the file or a expert could assist me.

http://files.haltech.com/downloads/ESP/ ... elease.exe

This is the link for the elite software, I am really struggling with settings/engine/trigger and settings/engine/ignition and knowing what options should be used. Any help is appreciated, cheers.

I would suggest speaking to Haltech or your dealer, you have paid the $$ and they offer tech support. With the elite being so new there is not a great deal of info, and it looks like there is no base map for a Holden V8 unlike the earlier ECUs.

There is a Haltec support forum similar to this been a Delco support forum. Your querie is very specialised so may have better luck over there. Good luck with Haltec customer support on this one as they will expect the purchaser to be knowledgeable in wiring.

This forum however does have very good delco wiring diagrams which may help un jumble to whole thing a bit
