VP Aftermarket Memcal Help
Re: VP Aftermarket Memcal Help
The car does run on methanol. I am going to 12P but was hoping to get some info from this to start a base tune.
Are you able to extract anything from this or is there an xdf that matches up?
I havent tried any VR xdf's yet.

kojab wrote:Could be the car this memcal came from is a NOS Sprint racing car. The bin is the official NOS Sprint bin for methanol injectors. It is 100% intact byte for byte. Also uses High speed data (8192). Has no injector BPW adjustment in data settings. Better off converting this to 12P.
what is it then? some sort of kalmaker code?

No its not Kalmaker code. No PAL is required. It was made for the Nos Sprint cars. I do not know who wrote the code. My guess would be Ken Young.
Re: VP Aftermarket Memcal Help
Is Ken Young the code writer for Kalmaker?

Re: VP Aftermarket Memcal Help
i just offset another xdf to get the spark table out.its less timing than a stock hsv chip maybe its soft for running an ecotec sprint engine or people are adding spark via the balancer rings to crank in more timing for power.ide just start from scratch with 12p
