I am wanting to do some logs of rpm vs kph ,as we do not have a speed sensor ( for various reasons ) would I be able to log this using ALDroid with the gps from the phone if so how?
I need to calculate prop slip accurately think its around th 34% mark but need accurate figures to be able to get right prop pitch/diameter to get around the norm of 15 % slip.
Could relate it back to torque converter stall speed

Can aldldroid write a csv with the adx data and gps speed etc? I dont think tunerpro is your answer here, rather a spread sheet loading the csv.

ALDLDROID does log in a csv and xdl simultaneously. I've bever used the csv file. It does log speed via GPS once enabled but it's something I've never used on it.

Yeah do that. Load the csv in excel or spreadsheet of choice. Find a good launch your interested in and the tools to chart rpm vs gps speed. If gps isnt in the csv check the options for a way to make it so.

I was wondering can I extend the ,EST - Coolant Advance vs MAP and Temp (Coolant Advance Bias Term Is Subtracted), table to give values at 50, 40 & 30kpa ? in the xdf.or is there not the space alocated
Also have I got this right if I have a positive value it is subtracted from main spark ,if negative value added to main spark?

no, you cant extend that table yourself. the xdf only makes the cal human readable... but the tables that the 12P code reads when it is executing are fixed in the 12P code. the only person who can edit that is VL400.

opposite way around, a positive value adds to spark, a negative value removes from spark.

Why not mount something like this on the transom.... would it be at all helpful?

Random ebay example.

Just a quick thought....

not really as I have a gps speedo and not fussed on water temp (it's either ball shrinking or ok).
