low octane or high octane default?

Post by hsv08 »

Running a VT SS on The1s Enhanced A6c 0.91 XDF and CJDN1927 bin on a NVRAM.
Now ive had a issue ive tried to overcome of the advance not being whats in the high octane map. its not until i compared it to the low octane that i found most of the timing follows this map?.
My understanding is that by default it would run off the high octane until it detects knock, then it would interpolate between the high and low until knock was gone.
So i copyed my high octane map into my low octane and then it followed the values in both maps.
Ive never seen this motor knock nor with the standard values would i expect it to knock.
But im curious as to why it reads the low octane map rather then the high?

There is a logged item for adaptive spark in some enhanced ADX and bins. Might have to request the1 to add this to the A6 bin.

It shows the blending of low and high octane tables.
