L67 manual ecu choices
L67 manual ecu choices
What ecu would I be better of using for a vn calais l67 conversion the 808 or the factory pcm it will be manual aswell
Re: L67 manual ecu choices
Really depends on what system your more comfortable with if you comfortable with tuning map based system use the 808 with $12p or if you more comfortable with maf tuning use the old. Using the older 808 ecu will mean less wiring to do but more tuning the l67 will mean more wiring but has a factory tune already for a good base but you will have to mod the ecu to use the older vss or buy one of festys speedo correctors
Re: L67 manual ecu choices
Ok can I use the factory l67 auto pcm and tick the manual flag, use festys speedo corrector and use the1s enhanced bin
Re: L67 manual ecu choices
Yea that should do it but what gearbox are you using the t5 or the getrag box if your using the getrag box you won't need the speedo corrector
Re: L67 manual ecu choices
I'm going to use a t5

Re: L67 manual ecu choices
What model of L67 PCM are you using?
VS L67 PCM wont read the T5 sender, but can be modified to do this. http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic. ... 740#p15740
VT and later support both sensor types.

Re: L67 manual ecu choices
Do I put the t5 speed sensor onto pin D2 like the vs
Re: L67 manual ecu choices
some VS L67 PCM's will read T5, it was after a certain serial number i think, they had the extra components, i have seen a few with and some without.
