OSE 11p '424' to '97 VS V6 4L60E AUTO conversion
OSE 11p '424' to '97 VS V6 4L60E AUTO conversion
as i was re-pinning the pcm with the provided EXCEL i have found A12 =B9(BR/W) Cranking Input (my gregoy's diagram page 12/77 says B9 (BR/W is brake fail lamp?) is this the correct re-pin? and C5 =D11(BLU) TPS Signal (should it be B11) my D11 is BR (black and red) but my B11 is L (blue) which is TPS. i hope this makes sense. i dont have a BCM at all trying to wire it all up as basic as i can.

A12 gets the cranking input from B9 of the ecotec. Its the same circuit as the brake fail for a dash lamp check of sorts.
Looks like a typo for TPS, should be C5 on the VR PCM removing pin B11 from the ecotec PCM.
There is a VS V6 diagram here .. http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=12

thanks for clearing that up for me i just wanted to be sure

finally got back to this harness, i have maybe a silly question, C15= fuel injectors 3,2&4 C16= fuel injectors 1,5&6 and D7 injector voltage monitor, am i able to run 3 main wires to the manifold and split to the corresponding injectors from there or are the full length wires needed for a specific resistance?

You should be able to run the injector wires out to the manifold and split them there
Re: OSE 11p '424' to '97 VS V6 4L60E AUTO conversion
that sounds good, tryin to keep it minimal as i can

hi guys, things have changed now going to run a th350 with the ecotec, staying with the $11P though. slowly getting to do little bits of wiring would someone be able to help me with a question for a VS dash cluster?, the blue cluster plug- pin#7=10 pulse, pin#8,9&10=2 pulse, pin#11=pulse gnd. i have pins 8,9&11. what are these wires for are they speed alert? can i omit them and just use the pin#2 speed signal from my tranny?

i unwound another harness and yes they are for the speed alert, i just unpinned em.

hi all, newbie is lost. ive gone back to stock 4l60e and a stock VS harness with BCM (no key head) repinned to a '424' with OSE_$11P V104 NVRAM and logger with pass through.
prolly not the ideal setup for a newbie. the motor is still out of the car but im trying to get my head around the interface and basic how to's while i build.
when i read the GETCAL file with flashtool it says that Set=Disable anti-theft module control and Set = VS Anti-Theft System are both checked in the SET box however i still
cant get power to the starter motor unless i wait the 30 odd minutes until the flashing light goes out, i tryd to refrain from a FAQ but the searches have still
left me baffled. am i missing something or done something wrong to disable the VATS? Cheers

ok from my experience of using a 424 with a VS body wiring loom and bcm, i had to setup a vs bcm message in the message scheduler.....
so i'm going to guess you need that added, then the rest should work i think....
also you'll want the vs fan bcm if you want the normal VS fans to work on 2 speeds.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
