When you done the get bin's from this ecu at the start.
Could you read them in tuner pro? What is the size of the .bin file?

I had a quick read of a guide from VL400. If you are successfully getting the bin file from it.
Then you should be able to write an enhanced bin to it is how I took it.

What does flash tool say when you try to connect now? Csn you show a screen shot?

Nothing. Its dead.
Failed to connect.
No device found.
Com closed.

I have not got any bins from it since it crashed.
I have tried to connect heaps of times. But all the same nothing.

Ose just sais no device found. So I figured if it can not even find it. There is no hope.

I tried to listen for chatter. Some things appear. But I don't know what I'm seeing. It could all just be nothing.

From reading a thread on here about another bricked ecu. Someone said to send a command to the ecu to see if there is any life at all. I sent that command and got a little stuff back, But does not look good...but again I don't know what I'm seeing.

I left the ecu disconnected for an hour. But still no device found.

Ill get a screenshot of the failed connection if you still want? Does not really say much though. Other than no device found.

That will do. And with the same settings you can connect to the one in the car now?

Yeah, same settings.
I even tried it on PCM on bench mode.
Tried with all different things checked/unchecked. Just hoping for at least 1 more connect because then I could have saved it with the stock .bin.. But unfortunately not. Not with my skill level anyway.

I always thought I still had a chance, because I had all those working .bin's, So I thought if it crashes. I can always just revert back to normal.
I was not aware that it would loose all contact with OSE.

I really thought the write bin would work. It was writing for a good 5 minutes,.

..I thought oh great its working..Then error appeared.

Went all the way up to 'writing bank 6' then crashed.

I selected YES to retry. But this time it only ran for a few seconds, up to 'writing bank 1'. Then crashed again.

Then from there on. If I selected try again, it would only write for a few seconds. And error again.

Finally I selected NO to try again....which I think was my bad mistake. From there on it wouldent even connect.

Do you have a good steady battery voltage while writing?
Also what interface are you using?

Im using a usb interface from VL400. Antus sells the same quality units now.
