Vs Pcm into Vn ? Issues.

This is the pcm that has the chip board in it. Appears to be the same as the ones mentioned on this site.

Ok it's a kalmaker tune. You want to run this car off the the VN ecu?
Only problem there is the VR auto trans wont work off the VN ecu.
The VN T700 isn't electronic shift and VR is.

The VR auto ecu can go into the VN. But will take some custom wiring.
Not impossible just take someone who's motivated.

Okay can I put he board and tune into the Vn PCM. Don't need electronic shift as the 4l60e is full stage 3 manual.

Im not up with the later Kalmaker workshop series. But I think that board should work in a VN ecu but will need reprogramming as there's different code between them ECU's

I think the best way out for you is to have the VR wiring loom midified to work on your VN body. And have security disabled in that current tune, if it was turned on to start with.

Okay and half of that confuses me. I hate computers aye am about to run a points dizzy n a dp carb.
Is anyone able to possibly give me a call to perhaps explain the situation and to get me to understand what has to b done.

Just need a simple way to get it running as I need to be able to drive it onto a trailer to take it to the spray booth. I have a vr loom can I use the front half of the Vr loom that has PCM plugs and PCM or aren't the two harnesses compadible

Might be best to then. Makes any future work or trouble shooting easier on yourself as well.
What specs the cam? Any other engine mods?

So can I have half Vn half vr wiring. Only concern is the Vn wiring rear part has gearbox plugs on it and the front half of the vr one has the vr gearbox plugs on it and I don't want to use either as my box is full manual. This one is falirly basic 286 crane 2800 tpi small body stally big heads and a set of yella t rollers rockers. I have 3.94 gears for the car and being in a lightweight Vn with a small nos shot should be a fun street / weekend warrior package. Just want a street car that I can still take to the power cruise and have some fun in it.
