No worries
I'll work it out when I build the diff, I might notch the floor for the upper mounts and make some adjustable top arms

Re: VT V6 into Gemini
yeah i could have mounted the 202 forward like most people do and use the stock gearbox crossmember but i wanted it right back and also needed to replace half the floor and tunnel anyway so this just made more sense!
diff is a borgie which started out with stock gemini lower arms and commodore upper arms added to replace the torque tube
then i put a turbo on it and with slicks it meant the diff could still twist up and hit the floor because of the pivot in the lower arm..... so i then added commodore lower arms....
haven't had an issue since
and yes that is the FB Ute i used to have with commodore v6 running gear, dad now has it and its getting close to being almost engineerable!
the last photo i have of it....

Great post
That gives me a few ideas, those foward upper mounts are similar to what's used in escort 4 link kits

Re: VT V6 into Gemini
is that just so you can have an electronic speedo ?
you can always get a inline converter so the computer gets the speed signal but you can keep your original dash speedo etc.

Re: VT V6 into Gemini
when i did the ecotec into Torana i used a very similar speedo, easy to configure and works well, but obviously depends if you want to keep the dash looking stock or not!
what are the two plates to the right of the sump for ?

Re: VT V6 into Gemini
Yeah stock dash speedo isnt calibratable. To keep original look and correct speed you need to install an aftermarket guage behind the original face. (or there are details about modding a vn speedo, should be a link in the faq)
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
