VS V6 SC PCM

Post by MAGP »

Looking at the various lists around it looks like the VS V6 SC engine used 2 PCMs, the 16210672 and the 16210480.
The 16210480 appears to be VS V6 SC specific, I haven't been able to find any reference to it for any other model or engine but the 16210672 and the 16199728 not to mention the 2 RFI (Police and Taxi) variants are quite common.

I have read that the VS V6 SC 16210672 were different to the NA VS V6 16210672, does anyone know if this is true? Do I need to find a specific SC 16210672 or can I use any of the 4 easily available PCMs to do VS V6 SC tuning? Prices on ebay for anything SC are exorbitant compared to NA PCMs so I am, obviously, looking for the best way to do this.

just use the vs n/a ecu.you dont even need a pcm just use the customers ecu with nvram fitted for tuning then burn tune to memcal when finished
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
