Wiring Question: Injector & Fuel pump relays

Post by h4x0r »

I am retro fitting an injected 304 to Torana. The memcal ID tool says I have a $11 VR V8 5.0L Automatic Revision B. Delco 16176424.

I am fitting the wiring harness and need to wire in a relay switch for the injectors and fuel pump using this guide: http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=192333.

I am not using the oil pressure switch as I don't have one.

According to this diagram: http://www.oldholdens.com/temp/carstuff ... iagram.pdf
Am I correct to say that pin A6 is for the fuel pump relay and pin A4 is for the injector relay? My harness does not have wires coming out of these pins.

Download a copy of 11p from the custom code section. There is good pinout data for the 424 there. You might also find you want to run 11p on it. It has the best tunerpro definitions and extra features.

in this link VR/VS V8

there are some GIF files, these are the VR / VS V8 Auto ones you probably need.

Fuel pump relay wire is A1 and this is the positive side of the circuit.

Thanks antus & Holden202T. This has helped tremendously. I'm moving on from being a carby guy. You EFI kids are dope. So my 424 uses the diagram clearly labelled in 11p or here: http://www.oldholdens.com/temp/carstuff ... SV8A-1.GIF

So I use A1 to power the fuel relay and use the key ignition/on to power the EFI relay?
I give the 424 power at C1 and earth C2&C3. With the rest of the harness setup I have programmed my memcal with 11p 424 bin. I should be able to awaken this beast?

Battery power at D1. Ignition signal to C1. And make sure vats is disabled in the tune.
