Re: Vt hsv conversion won't run
Sounds like you are trying to load and .XDF file for acquisition when you need the .ADX file

XDF = Tuning binsHsv183 wrote:Ok I'm lost. I have downloaded the file from "holden xdf" which I save to my downloads. I then go into tuner pro select "acquisition" then "load definition file" which takes me to my downloads folder which at that point tells me it's empty so I select all files which allows me to select the file, when I try & open it says failed loading.
I will try & screen shot when I get home soon.
ADX = Live logging

Re: Vt hsv conversion won't run
Thanks everyone for your help, I'm an idiot!
I have managed to take a couple of logs.
It has no injector pulse time & a green FAIL beside the vats flag?
Also how do I get a list of fault codes?

Hello.
Ok I,'m still having issues with my conversion.
I took some logs which showed the voltage dropping to the pcm & injector monitor.
So I decided to wire it directly to the battery (fused of course) when I tried to start it it runs but cuts in & out & the data connection flashes between "connected" & "data error" then the errors just start to count up. When I had it running the voltage would jump up & down & at one stage held a constant 13.1v
After a couple of hours of trying nothing seems to make any difference, sometimes it go's sometimes it doesn't.
I cant seem to find the DTC error codes.
The only other thing that's "red" is the inlet air temp voltage which is 3.33, when I put some heat in the inlet it drops into spec though

Re: Vt hsv conversion won't run
I have just tried another memcal I have. So on the original memcal I get no data in the "run time" or "desired rpm" or "air/fuel ratio" fields however when I put the second memcal in it reads all of those but doesn't fire or run.
I'm starting to think the PCM or MEMCAL is dodgy?

Re: Vt hsv conversion won't run
I'm not sure if they are the same but thanks. The memcal is the only thing that's been changed & the second memcal is one the guy did who removed vats from my original.
Re: Vt hsv conversion won't run
sounds like bad memcal if it changes like that can you get a read with the flash tool and post it up. a copy of the flash too can be found here http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=82
Re: Vt hsv conversion won't run
Burn a new memcal using the enhanced bin. Then you can use a quality XDF and ADX.
