Vr v8 with th400

Hi guys looking for some help with my vr commodore. Not sure on what computer to use or say 11p or 12p. I've got a 424 and a 305. Currently the cars running a mild efi 5 litre, crane 284 cam and a th400 auto. I've got a manual wiring loom in it at the moment and a spare auto loom. I'm just looking at what's needed to start this thing up and run the cam in

Definetely go the 305 and matching loom. Run it on 12P code.

Do I need to worry about vats if I use the man computer with 12p

when given the option, even on Manual engines or non electronic autos like the t400, I run the VR auto computer and 11P now, because spark cut limiter

VL400 once mentioned he had thought of adding a flag fkr a manual trans option one day.
I have a stock 11P bin with all necessary auto functions flagged,l checked by VL400. It's also in a thread somewhere here to.

I'd rather run the 11p ose as I'm more familiar with it. If you could help me out with what I need to do that would be much appreciated. Also I'm running an ls1/6 fast throttle body. I was going to make up an adaptor for the stock efi 304 throttle position sensor to fit, as last time I was running a stock ls1 throttle body and tps and it kept throwing tps errors. Can I reconfigure anything to be able to run the stock ls1 tps on the 5 litre so it's reading properly?

Also with 11p will that run a th700 or t5 vss?

no, but that is not really required. in a VR, if you use a th700 or t5, you can run the VSS direct to the speedo on the dash and not even use the PCM.
thats how 90% of the VR auto > t5 conversions do it without having to put a manaul loom in the car.
