Fair enough, however as an alternative you can often get decent second hand shocks at a reasonable price. I've got second hand Bilsteins all round in my Torana, they cost a little more than a new set of Monroe and are in a completely different league (they are noticeably better than the Koni adjustables which are were a lot better than the Monroe, for obvious reasons).

There's nothing wrong with the Monroe GT gas units for the price though, they work fine in the average vehicle.
