Allowing a engine to breathe is a must. backpressure is so a wives tail. My exhaust guy started to realise that when I asked for something he did not argue. He really could not see the point of 2.75" exhaust on a 1800cc but when i took him for a ride one day he couldnt believe it.
The VL race car runs 1 3/4 extractors and breathes so well through a 2.75 runner into a megaphone. nice note, quite enough and awesomely flowing. My passengers only complaints, their legs and feet get hot (I need to work out how to fix this.)
Awesome efforts. 304 are not slow and realistically are actually better than a ls1. As long as you fix some oil delivery design issues.
