I can test it tomorrow, what particular things did you want me to test? if no one else can before!

Also with the bluetooth type elm couldn't you hard code the PP 0C saving scrambling it with sending the command?

Ah, just want to see if the newly implemented frame counter works fine with the logging. Just a quick log will do. Once thats sorted Ill get that filter sorted and should be able to monitor any program.. or scantool thats sending info without all the other data in the way. Least it will make it easy to see what custom frames are being sent as they will show up in the frame counter clear as day.

And nah.. the bluetooths elms actual bluetooth module is set to a specific baud rate apparently, hence when attempting to change the baud rate of the elm device.. which works.. but the bluetooth module doesnt actually change its baud, hence it loses connection entirely to both elm and computer. This is just what I read up on what someone had happen to them on carmodder.
Iv chucked in a "115200 Baud" checkbox that can be disabled for those using a bluetooth elm.. so they will just connect up on the baud rate that works for them.

Also since iv re-enabled the CAN frame auto formatting by the elm, I just wanna check that no errors or anything pop up. Will make it a hell of a lot easier to send messages if the elm does the hard slog for us and we just send a simple "01 0C".

Had a no go for the VY and VZ pcm's. Bloke didnt want to part from his "tuned" VY V8 pcm for less then $200 yet happily let his cluster and radio go for 75, and the V6 VZ would only sell it with the engine and bcm since apprently its impossible to reconfigure these too other cars

Taz.... You broke it!!!!

Now when listening it gets a little bit of info & comes up unknown error & stops all data, it even stopped the monitor program from seeing anything after program reset & elm reset!

EDIT: added the logs of what programs saw & did if it helps!

Hahah, My Bad. Well guess that solves that mystery, we must have auto format turned off or we get the faults happening.

And the unknown fault occuring is coming from an "illegal cross thread call", I missed out on a silly simply checkbox. Will update in a moment

BINGO.... Only thing that would be good is to make the frame count screen be able to select all & export as that's a cleaner layout to sift through single responses!

Well Here is all the engine data the scan tool recieved during the attached logs;
RPM
TPS
Coolant Temp
Intake Air Temp
Start CLNT
Start IAT
ST Trim-1
LT Trim-1
ST Trim-2
LT Trim-2
Baro
MAF
Gen F Trmnal

There is another I think 5 windows of this I can log but without having a break down of what each item is I think it's going to be a bit useless!

It would be good to know what each item of data is for whats being transmitted over the comm's!
