Like I said this tune was a new one I barely started on it
and haven't done a lot of things as pointed out.
The problem is some of these cars just wont allow my gear to work.
Even n/a with a normal tune, had a vr 355 do it and a genuine gts do it
all manual ecu's anything else no problem.
I had it running on v110 before but thought id update to v111
I just didn't get anywhere as it wouldn't live tune sometimes
and if I tried to log it would go straight into limp mode.
Originally I loaded v111 an no start ,disabled anti theft
no start tried the v110 id and unticked code 51 it started ran fine
no engine light nothing.
Restarted after setting the timing then it just went to shit
fuel pump staying on then wouldn't log tune etc.
Just been the worst car ever to try to tune.

I do yes ,actually when I had trouble the 1st time i used it.
But never finished the tune as inlet temps were about 110-120deg
not intercooled and it was detonating even pulling lots of timing
so left it at that.
This time I tried it and car wouldn't run with v111
but would run with v110 really weird.

logging the ecu with an aldl cable should never put it in limp mode.

All V8 HSV vehicles have knock sensors, and the knock sensor is turned off (water temp 151deg) in my opinion this should be the first thing to check before starting to tune, also Code 43 mil light not set.

I realise that, never got to set it.
The v110 tune it is set, just hadn't got to things like being pointed out with the v111 tune
I only just started with it,so needs a lot of work.
All I did was change inj rate, and few other things.
Never got to cranking, inj settings etc and disable lean cruise and few other things.
Im more concerned as to why im having trouble with the live tuning gear with
only these cars, seems no one knows.
Why can I tune other cars with 12p or vr manual tunes with no issues
then I get cars like this and I cant tune cant log or anything.
Funny part is originally my gear worked ok to but only with the modded 808.
Im no ammature ive tuned 100s of cars.
The v111 tune I couldn't even make changes and couldn't log with out it going into limp mode.
Its something to do with the data on a vr manual pcm I know that much.
Id really like to find out why this happens and fix it so it doesn't happen again.
