ah shit i made the assumption that it was a vp loom not a repinned vr one. vn-vp manual and auto looms are exactly the same so if you go to a wreckers and ask for a manual one the price jumps up 150% but if you ask auto you should be right wellat least thats the case here in wa

okkts not a vr loom its a vp auto loom. so i really just need the tune chNged to manual like you said,and re check all harness wring.im in perth does anyone know who tunes v6's? or anywhere i can send my ecu for the 12P tune.you suggested?

VN and VP ecu are the same in auto and manual even between 4 6 8 cylinder.
All run the part number 1227808.

yeh ok what about series 2 vn/vp ecus? same still? i was told the manuals run different software to the auto? or is this just bs and its how performance centres make money? lol

Pretty much. I even think the memcals are the same for auto manual.
