What's the deal on the sprint car engine with the extra set of injectors that look like they spray in the exhaust ports? Is it to cool the exhaust valves? Or just for making neat flames? :D

Edit -> Does that injector reach right across the width of the head to the inlet valve?

sprays straight onto the back of the valve pretty much, and being methanol it would have a massive cooling effect too!

you really need to hear one of them running close up, they sound cranky as :)

the late model speedway guys get these motors second hand, pretty much just put a single plane manifold and carby on them, and then suitable cam and off they go!

some wild dirt machines out there heheh

Have you seen the price for a secondhand supercar engine? Boy I wouldn't spend that much on a few cars.

yeah but it would probably have the reliability of a factory engine :P
