I'd be happy to do that if I knew how to do that.ironduke wrote:You can edit the xml file yourself to allow a 2 if you think that will fix your problem..

DBW not turning off VATS
Good Morning! I have been using Universal Patcher and PCM hammer for a little while now just doing Vats deletes and the typical easy stuff for people but I've noticed that when it comes to a DBW PCM, Universal patcher is unable to write a two to that segment and turn off VATS. I only have 0:Class2_V...

Re: DBW automatic to Manual conversion
Thanks man, I saw the Segment swap utility thread above this one and went to work reading through it. I was able to create the bin I need and will test it here pretty soon. Thanks for getting back to me.

Re: DBW automatic to Manual conversion
I've done just a little more research and what I've found is a video on youtube of a guy doing it no problem (though admittedly he was converting from a 4L60E to a 4L80E). He had to segment swap inside HP Tuners which doesn't always work if you don't have the right OS. Apparently the OS's have to ma...

DBW automatic to Manual conversion
Ok, I am in need of some help. I am trying to convert a DBW PCM out of an 05 1500 2wd with the LM7 with an automatic transmission to a manual transmission. What's all involved in this and how do you complete segment swaps? What is a segment? I figured I could just compare a manual transmission truck...

HPT vs UP vs TP Parameter cross reference
Is there a cross reference of the parameters that are shown or present in HPT and how they translate into what parameters are in universal patcher and tuner pro? I'm grateful to Universal Patcher and the developers of it as it has allowed me to finally get rid of that pesky VATS deal but I'd love to...

Re: P04 R&W Testing
I know for a fact it is a P08, the Hardware Number (16268310) is P08, it is not going to work as a P04 ... PERIOD! Give me a few minutes and I'll PM you a test build that will no doubt read that PCM! -Enjoy I was able to read the PCM just fine. I haven't tried to write to it yet but attached you wi...

Re: P04 R&W Testing
Antus, attached you will find the results of me trying to use that version of PCM Hammer to unlock the P04 in question. I included a snip of what I got and a complete debug log.antus wrote:I've PM'd you a test version. Can you please test and let me know if it unlocks?

Re: P04 R&W Testing
Yes, the second connector underneath the blue connector is Black. Guess it's a P08, but all I'm saying is when I run PCM hammer, it says P04. I am working on testing that application you sent me Antus.

Re: P04 R&W Testing
Although I am BRAND NEW to this world and this forum, I wanted to add to this thread specifically that the P04 PCM must have been in the 2.2L sonoma and S10's because that is what I've got here. As you can see, the OS ID is different from the ones that you have been talking about as it is a 9392795....
