Re: Vs commodore rev limiter and manualized auto gearbox

The1 you are a legend. Now I see the fuel cut settings I feel like slapping myself. But then I'm more use to poking around with the 12p stuff so I guess I guess I can let myself off this time.

With them auto settings will it still manually shift 1st 2nd and 3rd? Not to worried about tcc lock up

Vs commodore rev limiter and manualized auto gearbox

Hello brains trust I'm helping a guy at work with a skid pig Now I know none of this is good for the car and he has been warned, but it's a $300 police action buy that is only going to die anyway. But is there a way to manualize the gearbox in the ecu? Have seen the diode trick online and will just ...

Re: spark advance calculator

Yeah not sure why I posted where I did

spark advance calculator

Found this in travels on the interwebs Sort of handy, even if just to play and learn from. Injector DC Calculator-1.xls Knowing the Gemini has a static timing of about 8° Depending on age of dizzy, mechanical advance of about 10° and much the same for VAC advance. I could punch the numbers in and ha...

Re: gemini tuning help

Wasn't looking for big gains going EFI
But 80% of any gain I will see will come From timing.
He was more referring to dyno vs seat of pants tuning.

And the pulsar alt was the plan just haven't had time for a wreckers run, not till this arvo

Re: gemini tuning help

Old mate seem to think differently, and is reluctant to touch it as he feels it will be to much work for a very little gain. Said I would be struggling to do any damage if I'm not dialing crazy numbers. Yet a gemini but that tunes on the mainland said to be very careful as I will easily break rings ...

Re: gemini tuning help

might stop being lazy and lock the baseplate instead of just disconnecting vac advance that might stop some jitter. I should of done it when I did mechanical advance :shh: :shh: still having charge problems, might be time for a new battery and alt upgrade also chatting to a guy about getting it on a...
