Re: 4l60 no 4th gear
Ok guys just for anyone else having same or similar issue, I replaced the tps sensor on weekend and appears problem solved . I didn't have any dtc's originally when fault occurred but started to have check engine light illuminate last drive previous to tps replacement . Fault code was 22 tps . It wa...

Re: 4l60 no 4th gear
Thanks for that Chuff. Luckily in a way , most of the hydraulic items are much less likely now due to the currently not active fault ! Electrically much more so likely . I looked over the log data again last night and I have a pretty strong feeling that there is a wiring/connection issue possibly at...

Re: 4l60 no 4th gear
Ok so , Looked at drive log data from yesterday. All seems mostly good as far as tps , speed sensor , etc. There was a discrepancy though between the tps engine data and trans tps at the same point , namely full throttle of one instance anyway. The eng data says 4.86 volts and 99.61 throttle % but t...

Re: 4l60 no 4th gear
Pretty sure both were ok but I will recheck the log tonight after work. Will also look at tps operation in tp5 with key on .

4l60 no 4th gear
Hey all . Auto was working fine, pretty standard higher km's sluggy 4l60e . Chucked a corvette servo in because well , 60 bucks why not . Pretty easy job , took nothing off just worked in the space I had between body, trans, and exhaust . 1.5 hrs later all good , refilled lost atf , roadtested at 7....

Re: Cold and hot idle setting strategy ?
Yes I have been . Sorry I probably mixed that up a bit . I have been playing with the - Idle fuel- af ratio vs coolant temp and the - Idle fuel- VE closed throttle vs rpm . The part I wasn't sure of was if the same rpm in the closed throttle VE should match the main VE . I probably should untick the...

Re: Cold and hot idle setting strategy ?
I have been using the idle ve table in closed loop but I only initially adjusted the few cells and slight adjustments to the matching afr , mostly I was trying to lean it off a bit for warm up cycle . I actually can't remember now why I ticked enable for it to be honest, I probably did it when I was...
