When it goes lean, what it injector pulse width doing?
Is it reducing - indicating the ecu is trying to lean it up, or
is it same - indicating a mechanical issue in delivering fuel when hot ?

Try lifting the "DESIRED IDLE AIR RATE VS RPM - xxxxxxx" for each gear.

I use the vx adx in my vy.

That'll be 2nd gear.
You should get pretty close to achieveing full power without the need for 100% throttle at lower revs though, think of how little throttle can achieve 100kPa MAP through the mid-range when tuning a MAP based v6.

1.28 is happier to conenct in my VY than 1.32/1.34 ( i haven't tried every version)
1.34 works ok if I canhenge preferences: Wait For Silence = 15mS, 1.28 is happy at 50mS

Why did you stay so small on the converter for a mainly drag car?
Was the thought of other non-drag applications a consderation?
I would have thought something more like 4k would see much more et improvement.

I wouldn't go anywhere near that lean in lean cruse.
In my stock N/A VY going much leaner than 16.6:1 results in a lean flat spot.

Basically, you can't.
Holden don't have them available, and many out there being purported as V8 items; aren't.
For professional tuning, a good set of knock phones and human response would be safer anyway.
