For a Ford escort :- http://www.brantz.co.uk/PDFs/Ford%20Gearbox%20Sensor%20-%20BR4.pdf Escorts are popular in the rallying world. Rally cars require a rally trip computer, which require a VSS signal. The above link is for the UK, but I'm sure there would be similar sources in Australia who deal in ...

Re: MiniPro TL866CS Programmer

No, I don't have a Windows 8 machine. Been avoiding that O/S like the plague.
Still, I guess if I get a new laptop one day, it'll come with it.

MiniPro TL866CS Programmer

Hi all, I took a chance, and purchased a MiniPro TL866CS programmer on Ebay. $52 to my door. The MiniPro is a USB programmer, about the size of a cigarette packet. It has a 40 pin 3M ZIF socket on top. The website is in chinese, but the install disk was in chinglish, enough to easily understand. The...

Re: Possible VSS For Cable Speedo Cpnversions

Here's a great source for VSS sensors that go between the gearbox and speedo cable, or splice into the speedo cable :- http://www.brantz.co.uk/sensors.htm

Re: Possible VSS For Cable Speedo Cpnversions

Looks higher quality than the Lada one. Then again, the Lada one was only $18 delivered.

These are on Ebay. Just search for Lada Niva Speed Sensor.
I have ordered one from Russia. Will see what it fits.

EPROM speed critical ?

Just a quick question, how critical is EPROM speed for the '808 ?
The reason I ask, is that we have some 27c256 chips at work, but they are old ones, and not particularly fast.

Thanks

Love the conversion!! I am netted to know wat sort of numbers the coolant sensor sees on an air cooled motor!!
So am I. When we put in the realtime modded ECU, will be interesting to see.
