Re: VZ Clubsport E40 PCM & PIM linking
Thanks Tazzi The thing is , it had this problem a few years ago when the owner did a manual conversion. I changed the harness over to suit the manual gearbox , and it had this problem back then. I was unable to sort it , so told him to go to the local Holden dealer , but he never did it. Since then ...

Re: VZ Clubsport E40 PCM & PIM linking
The information I have obtained from Holden about the ESS system is that it only pertains to BCM and keys When a correct key is inserted and the ignition is turned on , The ESS should beep once. It does this. When I put a new unprogrammed keyhead onto the blade and turn the ign on , it beeps 5 times...

Re: VT V8 HEC Roller cam engine lean cruise
Thanks brindo , I viewed the table as 'raw values' , then did the same with a VSIII V8 calibration that had the table populated. The changes were permanent when I went back and viewed the table again.
Have burn't a chip and will test tomorrow and let you know

VT V8 HEC Roller cam engine lean cruise
Hi there I am playing with a VT SS HEC roller cam & auto. I notice in Tunerpro that the 'lean cruise' flag is unchecked. I can set it and enter all the parameters of road speed , minimum coolant , time after idle etc etc But when I make changes to the 'Lean cruise - 'Air fuel delta Vs RPM and cy...

Re: VT standalone harness
Thanks for reply.
I will have a look in Tunerpro and see if I can see the flags for it.
It's actually A VQ ute with a VT L67 engine/trans/loom/computer ,so a VS III won't help I guess
Cheers

Dumb question , when transplanting VT ecu and harness (L67 & 4L60E) I have no comms with scantool I have had this problem before with VT transplants , for some reason VS ecu transplants seem to be fine. Is there a trick to get scantool comms (Tech2) with the VT without the other modules (I belie...

Re: VT memcal writing
Hello Norm I had a similar problem as you Firstly, the Moates software/hardware does NOT support your 27sf010. You cannot program it. I tried to program a 29F040B chip that came with my moates APU-1. This did not work, the chips would come up with a verify error. The problem was with the APU-1. Afte...
