Re: OSE $12P Teaser
Interesting. Was just curious as there seems to be the occasional post with people wantIng to do away with the fuel cut but no body seems to have mentioned switching a relay to kill power to the spark system. Guess now I know why. Pity it can't be done safely somehow as with the possibilitys with th...

Re: OSE $12P Teaser
Just curious. Is there a way the flex lookup tables can be used to switch a soloinoid for a spark cut?
Edit sorry was meant for the 12p thread.

Re: fuel tuning with long duration cam
good stuff 202. after seeing the carbon buildup on my last pistons ill be looking to keep the fueling as close to stoich as i can at idle and cruise. think my generous pe settings would have not helped either. over-cautious.

Re: fuel tuning with long duration cam
yep hydraulic roller cam. so blm off and just pull fuel out to get as close to stoich as possible, then blm on and allow the ecu to trim the fueling as it sees fit. simple enough. so theres no guru tips to be had. bugga

fuel tuning with long duration cam
hi all. just wondering what typically is the angle to take when tuning longer duration cams. from the tuning ive done with the cammed l67 it would appear they will run rich at lower rpms and suddenly lean out over a few hundred rpms as they come into there efficiency range. but that cam was pretty m...

Re: 4l60e lockup and speed sensor
Any way I could just use an ecotec/l67 PCM just with power and speed sensor signal and feed the square wave out put into the vn loom, or will the PCM refuse to put out a signal? Obviously itd be having a fit but it's only needed for the signal conversion.

Re: 4l60e lockup and speed sensor
cheers vl400 the only noide i left plugged in was tcc, i believe there is pwm noide as well that is unplugged as afaik is just for progressive tc clutch control which the 808 cant control. im guessing the 808 needs a speed sensor input control tc lockup. so until i chase up the signal conveter circu...

Re: 4l60e lockup and speed sensor
ok shouldve done some more looking sorry. tcc is green/yellow, red. switched to earth. i hope to run this of a relay switched by the cruise control. to do this i need a speedo signal though. if i wire the speed sensor on the 4l60e to the s/s input on the wiring loom, will the 60e s/s put out a signa...
