Yes there is a signal off the DIS/DFI (Pin E) that normally goes to the tacho on the V6 commys, also has a Tacho signal test point along that section of loom. The JRP Signal Booster has pin 87 as "From ECU 3~16v Digital" Would this Tacho signal from the Pin E of the DFI be the same thing ...

No it isn't a relay, it just happens to be in a relay style case. I think you will only need the booster. as you will have a easy to find tacho signal, on a v6 engine. The tacho adapter would be for an engine that does not have a straight forward tacho output. That's a new product since I posted tha...

I'm interested in how you bend the sheetmetal. I see you have a piece of angle iron to clamp it, but how do you do the folding? No I don't need a converter box this works straight off the commodore wiring loom (comm tach sig in). You don't need to understand it just copy the picture! You probably don't want one of those soldering irons, it about $700. You could get away with one from jaycar for $20 . Instead of soldering you...
