Re: Lambda readings

Assuming you mean logging in tunerpro you'll need to edit the XDF or ADX and modify the equations to calculate for lambda instead of petrol afr. The data inside the ECU is not in AFR in the first place, its the equasions that convert the data in the computer to human readable formats, and so you do ...

Re: Possible new OBD2 interface

J2534 doesn't say it has to be windows but then they define the software interface as a windows DLL interface, which then means it has to be windows. It would seem this tool doesn't support J2534, thus cant be used with most OEM tools that use that standard, or aftermarket / hobbyist tools that are ...

Re: Cables That DO NOT Work With PCM Hammer

The reason this thread exists is because there is no foolproof way to know. For example tactrix drivers claim it supports VPW and yet it was never implemented by the company that made it and so does not work. Then there are other low cost tools which do not support the large packet sizes and so will...

Re: 11p 4l60e trans help needed

Yeah values all shouldn't show the same numbers. Thats a huge red flag on that sanity check when working. It looks like you dont have your bin loaded in tunerpro, or some other incompatible bin, just the xdf maybe. something like that.

Re: d1998a dfi module or v6 rodeo module

Just looking again I think you have an imperfection here which if you can get a good +1 and it works it might cause a higer RPM misfire similar to the wobble in the one I posted above (or it might be ok.. but keep it in mind for the future).

Re: d1998a dfi module or v6 rodeo module

Ive just been looking through my notes and I found this one. Not your problem but just adding to the pool of information. It was a CAS sensor from a getz, and it shows the ripple which I think was my problem before I got another wheel cut. This is cranking and its generating just under 2v. It doesn'...

Re: d1998a dfi module or v6 rodeo module

0.7 - 1 is lower than what mine is. I was seeing above 3v at cranking and 20v at run. I believe the module uses the zero crossing not the peak so I think the biggest and first problem is that you don't get a clear zero crossing on the +1. FWIW I think the related patents are as follows. I just found...

Re: d1998a dfi module or v6 rodeo module

I cant say for sure, but I agree the signal on the +1 notch looks too low. Especially on the low side it (first pic) it barely crosses over the 0v mark. The flat space between the notches also looks up to 2x different between different pins in the trace but its hard to know if that's a problem becau...

Re: PCMHammer P04

OK Thanks. Allpro is pretty much abandoned at this stage as the hardware developer pulled the project, and my unit failed in hardware. I'll have a think about if I want to fix it or remove it. Good to hear it worked with the cardaq and obdlink. It sounds like the timeouts are occurring too quickly a...
