Re: Best VPN's & Web Browsers May 2023
Browser tracking is one of the main reasons, as noted. VM is also helpful if you are downloading questionable files. If anything happens to the VM, you can just delete it and make a new one.

Re: Best VPN's & Web Browsers May 2023
Daily browsing Firefox and Brave. Also have chrome for when my settings in the first two break websites. Ublock, skipredirect, cleanurls, pihole, and more recently have been trying to find something to auto answer all the stupid cookie pop ups. Most other odd things you may do that you think require...

Re: Assembly of P59 OS603 Trans MPH Tables
I am not sure how it switches between performance or normal modes but the shift lookup uses, I believe, some form of the current gear pid. You may be able to find a reference to shift tables by searching for the addresses of tables. Ghidra does not seem to create a reference to them automatically in...

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
Anything related to pressure and torque management that is not already available. Or anything that could help understand the main shift routine. So much jumping around in ghidra I get a headache. My brain was not built for disassembling code..

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
I do not have much more to go off of other than what I posted, sorry. Sounds like there needs to be a more advanced search added to the program though. Thanks for looking at it so quickly.

Re: Universalpatcher with Logger & Analyzer
I understand official support is not available yet. I am hoping to help get it there though. Using version 20.26 but it does not look like anything pertaining to my scenario was added in later versions. I am trying to get the PID search to read E40 and T42 PIDs. It looks like there is more changes n...

Re: OBDX Development - Developer Tools and Suggestions
On a E40(gto), I have never been able to use tech2win correctly with a vxnano or mongoose cable. Using software supplied by vx, official stuff from TDS, and even had a tech remote in and install some 30day version of it. All scenarios had limited functionality and would randomly crash or tell me the...

Re: 2006 P59 XDF Files Inside
Related to the E40, I have OS 12604792 in mine and OS 24236195 in the T42. I have been referencing the work done by dzidaV8 . I just started trying to look at the T42 in ghidra, using a 68000 processor seems to work well, but I really have no idea which processor it uses so I am going off what other...
