Re: Knock sensor swap

Hi Antus, I suppose this could be the case, spose I will find out how well they work if I can get something out of them. Haha As I'm planning on testing them with a 1uz on a P59. hahaha As v8fan says above about the PCM deciding what to listen to, there does appear to be a knock sensor frequency tab...

Re: Knock sensor swap

From what I could dig up, I believe that a 2002 Chevy S10 - 4.3 v6 runs the Flat response style sensors. The S10 I believe utilized the 0411 PCM. What I do know is they run a different part number between the S10 flat response sensor and the later Ls2 style sensors with a different plug. However I a...

Re: "flat response" knock sensors

NSFW, or others?

I know this may be a little bit of a thread dig, and potentially has been resolved.

But out of curiosity was this ever confirmed working or did it fall through the cracks as a still to do?

Re: LS1 Boost OS V3

Hey Bubba, Firstly awesome work with this as a whole!! I'm sure it has been some late nights! But certainly looks promising. :) Might need to hunt down a P59 pcm here in Aus or get one from the states! Any suggestions on best place to source? Or just ebay? This looks like it should suit a few projec...

Re: Bench Setup

Oldn64, well it does work :) I don't have a vy/vz or a bcm from one. As its for a project. Just wired the obd2 interface directly to the data line and pos/neg to the required areas and am able to communicate/change things on the cluster! Yeah know the feeling.. always distractions! :( Feel free to s...

Re: Bench Setup

I have successfully programmed a vy/vz cluster without the need for a bcm and wired up as you suggested. Also if you want to cycle through screens you will need the trip computer button wired in, or a series of resistors that represent each of the buttons. Personally I found it easy with just a tail...

Re: Speedo sender for Trimatic

If you want to order one, when you contact them (Mark) just say that your after the a "trimatic Speedo cable adapter", or something to that affect.

Mark, seems to have a lot of other products that aren't listed in the catalog, best bet is shoot him and email or give him a call.

Re: Speedo sender for Trimatic

I did a 202 trimatic efi conversion recently and ended up buying one of these. pulled the plastic gear off the trimatic cable and pushed that on to the adapter. Then it slides straight into the speedo sensor and uses the existing trimatic cable holder. 20140224_143602.jpg then used just an adapter w...

Re: Bedford CF Van

Ahh very good on the progress! the engine crane certainly helps! but I do love the stool on wheels at the back for the trans! guessing you didn't have another trolley jack? as for the crewman diffs, the initial research I did into them for a project I was going to use them for indicates a lot of the...
