A little trick I used to do with very large profile cams, was lean mixture and higher timing. Example, a 308 Holden large solid profile. 15:1AFR and 30 degree timing in those areas. Success. I did have the signal F earthed to the main body, I'm guessing that was why my modules kept dying. I got a fresh coil pack and module from the wreckers and it is working fine.
