Re: Converting 202 to DIS
A little trick I used to do with very large profile cams, was lean mixture and higher timing. Example, a 308 Holden large solid profile. 15:1AFR and 30 degree timing in those areas. There's some BIN's of mine like this in the custom tune area. That does smooth them out as they're not producing torq...

Hence the need for an IAC
Cold starts and car parks are definitely not my friend at the moment

Re: Converting 202 to DIS
Attached are the Head flow and Cam specs.
The rest of the package is just your standard 202 stuff. Flat tops, Starfire rods, balanced, oil system opened up etc.

Re: Converting 202 to DIS
Had the car on the dyno Saturday.
All running sweet but idle still a bit average.
Considering adding an IAC to improve it.
Happy with the results regardless

Re: Converting 202 to DIS
It looks right to me. I assume the original tacho is off the factory coil? And you would use this on the digital tacho out from the ignition module? Its not the only way to do it, but the price seems pretty good for an off the shelf aftermarket product. Yes the original Tach is a signal off the coi...

Will this adapter work to get my Tacho to work on the GTR Dash?
Everything is fine in Tunepro but nothing on the car Tacho

Re: Converting 202 to DIS
Success. I did have the signal F earthed to the main body, I'm guessing that was why my modules kept dying. I got a fresh coil pack and module from the wreckers and it is working fine. Timing set perfectly at 10deg, so feel free to use the cad for future projects. The thermo fans also clicked in at ...

Re: Converting 202 to DIS
That would be bloody awesome, let me know if you find it and I'll pick it up from wherever it suits you. I had a lightbulb moment last night....... Does the output from the module pin(F) need to go directly to the ECU Pin(B3)? I have a horrible feeling that in my quest for making sure I had good ear...

Re: Converting 202 to DIS
New wheel installed and I am still having massive RPM Signal spikes. I changed the ignition module back to the old one and I got zero pulses so the old module was definitely dead. Swapped back to the new Tridon Module and have RPM again but with huge spikes. Changed the ABS Sensor over just to check...
