vs ute immobilizer
Hey all i have a buddy with a vs ute and his key fob has f.u.b.a.r, i heard/read a long time ago it can be permanently bypassed holden want to charge 6-$700 to fix any info or insite will be greatly appreciated

Personally i think you are right the tech is on the horizon as far as publicly available vehicles goes they will just have to be bloody sure they are reliable from the get go otherwise they will never get off the ground

The main down side for rotary valve is that a traditional reciprocating valve uses chamber pressures as well as spring to hold closed and a rotating shaft hasn't got effective means to seal for long term durability and i do know of a truck engine in an rnd department that has a lotus camless set up ...

Hey Chubs, I'm looking at setting up a system in a 2 Liter Escort and am wondering if you're using the standard Ford gearbox, which is identical in an Escort, and how you configured your setup to get a a speedo signal for the ECU? Sounds like it could be an option in trying to keep the mechanical speedo for the time being is really my only consideration

Is there a minimum ppk value that the ecm can work with?
Meaning other than balancing issues would a single groove in the tail shaft flange be sufficient to get a working pulse?

i have been rolling ideas around inside my head for a few days now and i wonder if it would be possible to mount up a neat little trigger wheel and use an abs sensor on a rear wheel to give you the road speed signal similar idea to a dis timing setup. does anybody with more experience have any thoug...
