Re: What do I need to buy to tune my worked VN 5L?

Just wondering. I have a 160 deg F thermostat installed. Will this upset the ecu as in the engine only getting to 77 deg C?

Re: Connecting tunepro rt to ecu

No luck on the laptop :( I could see any reason why the defaults would be different in the gauge. I am at a loss. Any ideas???

Re: Connecting tunepro rt to ecu

I set the values exactly the same as the default setting for the gauge and still not right. Checked the earth and that was perfect. Gunna see if one of my old laptops has a serial connecter so I can double check the mtx programed defaults. Cant work it out :x

Re: Connecting tunepro rt to ecu

I am new to tunepro. Where would I find that. I found something to do with wideband in the VE LEARN PARAMS and those values match the analog output stated by the mtx-l manual. Checked it just before and TP shows about 13.2 and the mtx gauge shows 11.9. I let the engine warm up this time and by chang...

Re: Connecting tunepro rt to ecu

Also a note. The wideband sensor reading is not right. The gauge in the car is saying about 12.5 but the TP data shows 13.7 Something I will have a look at in the morning

Re: Connecting tunepro rt to ecu

All of a sudden it started to work. I played around with the settings in TP and it came to life. A little strange as nothing was changed in the setting since the last time I played. I will download the new version of the plugin now. Does that address the problem we found? I also recorded the log on ...

Re: Connecting tunepro rt to ecu

I need help! It's been a couple of weeks since I have connected the laptop to the ecu as I was waiting for a few parts to arrive and then install them. I installed the MTX-L and connected the annalog output to pin D8 I installed a knock sensor and connected that to B11 Soldered the knock filter to t...

Re: Want to add a wide band O2 sensor, Kit suggestion?

They are the gauges. Will have to try and download a manual for them. It doesn't say how they display the readings. Eg, bar display is oil pressure and segment display is temp or they automatically alternate between the 2. I'm guessing they can be programmed but just want to make sure before I spend...

Re: Want to add a wide band O2 sensor, Kit suggestion?

Yeah I did grab the MTX-L. Innovate bring out the same style of gauges that display oil pressure/oil temp in one and water temp/volts in another. Want 3 gauges that are matching but was just curious how they other gauges displayed the 2 outputs on the face of them. Was hoping someone had used these ...
