Re: T43 TCM programming Issues
being a 2008 ve, you can only use upto a 9cva based tcm. not a 0cva or newer. if it's a 9cva labelled box, u can do a full flash of a compatible os still. the late 2008/early 09 uses 12624402 for ecu os & T43 uses 24249179. 24243170 os will flash onto a later tcm, but it wont work still. which i...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
Am I the only one that has the popcorn out watching this? Genuinely excited watching the progression! I see its fairly easy to find the RXD/TXD header bytes now. Is there an easier method of finding all the support mode commands (ie.. 1A, 3B, 27, 34, 37 ect?). I have always had trouble trying to lo...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
ok, to cover all my bases i flashed in a corvette calibration since it's the same OS as the holden 1. I now have the capability to enable tapshift mode by pulling back to 3 on the shifter. this is the same way i activate tutd in 1 of my other cars. When in D, it's drive mode 6, 3 = mode 4. in the la...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
Small update, flashed ecu & tcm just now.
SUCCESS! Dash cluster now reports PRND position changes.
Now to see if I can get VATS security to work on this OS. I've had to disable it on 12609099 to get it to fire up.

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
I'll put up a longer post tomorrow after i do some testing on the actual car, but for tonight i've been going through the original T42 file to get all the TX/RX ID's & there settings just like ive done for the E38/T43's OSes im playing with. The T42 controller is not a PPC, so took a guess after...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
great explanation on the corvette differences. I might try loading in a corvette tcm tune, the auto seems to be shifting when i fire it up & I probably still need to play more with the canbus RX/TX settings, but the dash is certainly not happy. while i've temporarily wired the t43 to the t42 pin...

Re: E67 to T87/T87A TCM interface needed
It wasn`t that hard once you know the pattern. Found there is 2 main revisions of t43 code, not sure how to differentiate unless open in patcher, early style is labelled t43-0 later style t43 that was quick. lol. is there documentation for universal patcher that explains how to add new tableseek da...
