Perfect! Thank you for the help I'll keep pressing on with this re-pinning.Holden202T wrote:yeah it should be multiply by 5 to get the number without the dash divider, then offset from there for your gears.
once its driving then compare the dash and/or GPS to what you see in the tune to get it right.

Re: Question about converting loom
A12 on the VS PCM is for V6 only, cranking input to help stop backfires with the wasted spark ignition if its cranked but does not start. Its B2 on the '808 but you wont need to worry about it. Brilliant thank you! In regards to the speed setting in the tune, I took a look and found the "Road ...

Re: Question about converting loom
You can hook it up directly to ECU, but the PPK value must be changed in the calibration or the ECU will think the speed is 5 times what it really is (Will cut out once reaches 250 km/h because of speed limiter etc). If your tuning its not hard to do Legend! I will be using the $12P tune so I can a...

Question about converting loom
Hi all, Currently knee deep in converting a VS 304 Auto loom to suit a 808 T5 (for my VS). All is going well, auto connector has been removed, plugs modified to fit into the ECU, I’ve worked out most of the repinning but there are currently two questions I have: 1. Using the Hall effect speed sensor...

Re: Putting a 304 T5 in a VS S2
Brilliant thank you for the information!
I'm thinking at this stage I'll do it in stages as there are a few things that can go wrong that might stuff up the whole build. I'll get a loom/ECU sorted first and at least get it running NA, then revise what to do in the next stage with the blower.

Re: Putting a 304 T5 in a VS S2
Ah! Perfect, sounds good to me then that's what I will do.
While I'm at it, once the engine is in I'll probably look at putting a blower on the top of it. Anything worth doing during the loom/ecu building to make this easier?

No worries will do then!
So just to confirm, manual ECU is required but it's possible to get away with an auto loom with some cut and shut done on it.

Re: Putting a 304 T5 in a VS S2
Absolutely, are there any guides on converting an auto-loom to a manual loom and/or ECU? Keen to save money where I can, and being that I'm handy with a soldering iron I figure it's a good idea

Re: Putting a 304 T5 in a VS S2
Already have my big list of mechanical items I need to change over (including K-Frame) but just have been a bit lost on the electrical side. Already even have the manual centre console cover! :D :D The hardest part seems to be sourcing the looms+ecu, especially in manual, and even more so without so...

Putting a 304 T5 in a VS S2
Hi all, I've spent 20 pages of reading but haven't quite found the exact answer I need, apologies if I've missed it. Basically, I have a VS S2 Executive that was a V6 auto but has had it's engine, trans, associated looms and ECU taken out of it (so basically clean slate). I am planning on putting a ...
