Re: Modding Vy Factory LPG

Thanks you have put another part of the puzzle together for me. I had worked out that the 59 and 5A on the end of the message was petrol and LPG. I did this by listening to the messages and seeing what the consistent difference was when i switched between petrol and LPG. I had tried to spoof the clu...

Re: Modding Vy Factory LPG

Thanks I had sussed the clusters out including the extra wire and setting the hex in table 6 to enable the LPG fuel input. I have a donor VY with Lpg that was running quite happily until some A888888 decide to try and drive in my lane. I just want to move away from the Carburetor style because they ...

Re: Short term BLM and Long term BLM

OK so I followed a hunch and opened the adx in notepad. look at that it is a text file. searched for long term trim. Found a section that has Math equation = X-128 I am assuming X is the raw value 0 -256. so the displayed values would be -128 to 128 with 0 being neutral (128 or no adjustment) Is thi...

Re: Short term BLM and Long term BLM

Short term BLM and Long term BLM

With a map PCM I understand thet the PCM maps RPM against MAP and looks up the VE table to get the amount of air entering the engine, then It uses the BLM to adjust the the VE So with a Maf PCM the Air is measured not caculated and the BLM adjust the ?? to get the correct ratio. So my question is wh...

Well today after doing all the usually things again(comp test, lifter settings ect ect) In desperation we replaced the brand new coil with a second hand one we had on the shelf, and guess what, no more backfiring. Ran out of time to gather data. Will be most interesting to see what the O2 senso...

Re: O2 cross counts

No does it a steady rpm, say 2000 If you go out and thrash the living shit (and I mean thrash it, High rpm WOT) out of it it will settle down for a while then it will start to run worse and worse.
Here is some of the data we logged
