The flatter you launch the better. Thats great if you aren't limited by tyre size. All cars have to transfer weight to the rear but that wastes horsepower so the little you have to transfer the better. On well prepped tracks we have no issue but at tracks were the prep is less than great or nonexist...

What we are trying to do is get the car to squat. Currently the car launched flat so we put 90/10 inserts in the front and 3 way ajustables in the back. The idea is to have the front rise and the rear squat quickly to transfer weight to the rear, thus aiding traction. I was all for putting coilovers...

Well I thought I'd give the thing a birthday and see if we could fix the small problem that made the car go sideways in the burnout. Found a flogged out lower control arm bush so I swapped out all the bushes for Nolathane. So now we have a new problem. NO TRACTION WHATSOEVER! So now comes the next p...

The only mod I had to do to the original Holden throttle cable was to make the square hole in the firewall round. The ball end even fitted the pedal

Cranks for 3 seconds. Key has to be returned to the lock position before it will crank again. Sometimes it will start but runs for 3 seconds
