Re: P04 R&W Testing
ATM, patience is required! Kernel code is super super close ... I'm not going to be rushed though! I do work on it as diligently as health allows. Then we need to work on the Application side (PcmHammer itself), which really shouldn't be a big deal and should go really quick ... What we really need...

Re: P04 R&W Testing
What do we need to gain P04 write support? anything a lesser member like myself can provide to aid in getting us there?

Re: P04 R&W Testing
Was that using the OBDX native option or the J2534 option with the OBDX Pro VT? Also, what version OBDX Pro VT is being used? (V1,V2,V3). I’m testing with a v3 and not getting any voltage reading issues. I'm using the OBDX option, I didn't check any revisions or anything, I purchased the OBDX about...

Re: P04 R&W Testing
ejs262, Thank you for letting us know it worked and in car as well! I don't know where the PCM is located in the Grand AM, I think it's buried under the dash, thus likely not possible without removing it, it's not that important, don't pull it out unless it's super simple ... However, If ...

Re: P04 PCM's
what changes are you looking for? if you perform a read using PCM hammer, many changes can be made using Tiny Tuner.DethRattles wrote: I just read it earlier today, you listed all the pins. Was hoping to see some 04 grand am gt bins . Ive been looking for a tuned one to compare

Re: PCM Hammer P04 Support Project
This was the OSID for my 2003 Grand Am. 12583339 That said, I have a bunch of bin files that were read using other hardware, I have no definitive way of knowing that they somehow haven't somehow been changed or verifying their accuracy, but I can compile a list of OSID's from them if you would like.

Re: P04 R&W Testing
read was a success, and quite fast as well. also, FWIW, this was an in car read, not a bench read. if there's anything I can do to assist in gaining write capability I'm more than happy to do so. Re: P04 R&W Testing
so to attempt reading a P04, do I need to download a beta version of PCM hammer, or just the latest version? I'd like to give it a try on my 03 Gran Damn.

Re: Gm crank trigger wheel
if you run a single pattern wheel, you need to use a single pickup sensor from like a 96-99 vortec 350 or a 4.3L v6. If you run a double pattern wheel, use the ls1 style sensor that has two inverted pickups. The double pattern wheel is just redundant inverted patterns, and the sensor has two pickup...
