Re: eBay NVRAM vs PCMHacking NVRAM
I am proof that the PC Hacking NVRAM is the go. DO NOT one that looks like the one in this thread. Yes it did work (The ebay bodge job) BUT - It let me down after some time and the replacement let me down and the replacement of the replacement let me down. If you want to be left stranded in the midd...

Re: SV5000 Help
Thanks Antus, He had to go home as he lives 400kms away so we will plan another friday saturday tune for him :) The sv5000 made 200hp at the wheels, what should they normally make as that sounds fairly healthy? Also it appears that on very cold mornings it won't fire up until he has warmed the unit....

Re: lowering fuel pressure
Well this turned into a big problem for me. When the engine is running fine it's showing about 35degrees advanced when i check the static timing also no advance when not jumpered either. This would be the reason it refused to start with the old bin. I decided to try something as I have a hunch that ...

Re: lowering fuel pressure
Hi guys, I have the carb on and as the timing was all out, i have removed all the settings from and including IAC up. $11B V106 XDF It now runs, but I am not sure what I need to change or add back. I must admit though the temperature sensors are not in yet, I will try and get them in by the end of t...

Re: lowering fuel pressure
That sounds too simple.... :D Thank millions, you have made me feel much more confident. TPS it is then. I had to grind a little off the manifold as the heads have a small lip and it was stopping it sitting flush. I am still waiting on the Holley regulator to turn up but that should be be pretty str...

Re: lowering fuel pressure
cheers team, at this stage the plan is temporary, i am running some pretty nice flowing heads that actually match the full available gasket holes whereas the injection has mm's to spare, at least the gaskets give me a size to work with

Re: lowering fuel pressure
I have picked up a Holley with single in, and has a return line so i can plug it into my existing setup. The carby will likely be a temporary setup as I need to open up the injection manifold and I plan to put a top plenum on it and eventually run an 80mm TB. I may need some help with the ECU though...
