Don't plan to have the sensor in the car permanently. Just need to confirm whether the issue we're seeing is related to fuel pressure as the internet says, or if we are barking up the wrong tree. A logger like that will likely make it's way into my permanent kit as diagnostic tool for future issues....

Logging fuel pressure
Hi all, not delco related, but I have need to log fuel pressure. Doe anyone know of a standalone tool that could give us rpm vs fuel pressure?

Very interesting. The whole aftermarket tuning industry just about would come under this. Especially late model diesel 4WD tuning.

vlad, this seems really odd that you're having trouble finding parts just rebuilding a T5 dude? its not like the T5 was made in 1912 or anything ... ? That's because our t5 were a weird creation not standard anywhere else in the world. Those odd Aussie parts were NLA pretty much when they were new ...

Very easy to shorten a tail shaft at home. I have done it may times. TD how do you get it re-balanced? I take the balancing weights off before shortening taking careful note of what orientation they were in. Also, when you remove the yoke, you need to be careful of it's orientation also. I use a v ...

Thats fine for race cars when used with the holden V8 style case, but given the V6 shaft is just shy of 12" and Ford ones are 9 1/4". That places the shifter under the radio in a street car lol. yeah my box is BW, tremec took over about 1998 so the manual falcons from that period onward w...

The Third gear issue you mentioned. Mine used to do the same. I switched to DexIII for the oil and solved the problem. And before I get flamed for that. It is actually the specified oil for VR on T5 boxes. I have had issues wit gearbox oil before using the correct grade but just a different brand. S...
