I've been doing this for years. I use pcmflash and mmcflasher as well. On the 15-17 4mb files mmcflasher puts the strategy tag at 0x200703 which is wrong as MMCflasher incorrectly swaps the last 2 banks on those ecus. You need to copy over the original Engineering ID tags as well that's from the end...
